Dr. Graham M. Caulkins
Doctor
An artist long before he was a dentist, Dr. Graham Caulkins brings a special focus in biomimetic dentistry to the practice — a conservative, tooth-preserving approach that uses the latest, science-backed techniques and highest-quality biomaterials to save every healthy tooth rather than replace it. His restorative work rebuilds teeth to mimic their natural strength, function, and beauty.
Raised in Chappaqua, New York, and educated at Brunswick School in Greenwich, Dr. Caulkins showed an early aptitude for the arts — earning recognition as a teenage artist, with work exhibited on Greenwich Avenue, and later becoming a landscape oil painter. He spent his summers restoring antique colonial furniture, disciplines that demand patience, a trained eye for proportion and color, and a deep respect for the integrity of the original material. It is the same sensibility he brings to every restoration he performs today.
A merit-scholar graduate of the New York University College of Dentistry, Dr. Caulkins completed his clinical residency at Montefiore Hospital, where he received advanced training in restorative dentistry and worked alongside oral and maxillofacial surgeons on complex cases. Over the past five-plus years, a growing passion for biomimetic dentistry has taken him to its source — studying under two of the field’s founding masters: Dr. Simone Deliperi at the Sardinia Dental Teaching Center in Italy, and in person with Dr. David Alleman in Provo, Utah. That training culminated in a mastership program, making him one of the few dentists in the United States to reach this level of biomimetic certification. His work has been recognized with the USA Top Dentists 2026 award for Cosmetic Dentistry.
